Your AI should show its work.
Give your agent a checklist. It checks the steps, attaches the output, and hands back a record you can inspect — not another chat transcript.

Chat history is not a work record.
You asked your AI to plan the week. It did — somewhere in the scroll. What did it finish? What did it skip? Could it do the same thing next month? Nobody knows.
A task app can let an AI update tasks. That still does not show the steps it followed, the output it produced, or what it handed back to you.
One checklist. Both sides can work it.
Turn a process into a runbook
Save any checklist as a template. The instructions stay with the work instead of disappearing into a prompt.
Start a fresh run
Instantiate the template whenever the work repeats. Each run keeps its own steps, dates, and completion record.
Attach the output
Finished steps can hold the summary, draft, confirmation, or other proof. Every checked box can show its receipt.
Generate the next run on time
Schedule a template and OnlyCheckboxes creates the next checklist when it is due, ready for you or your agent.
Leave the handoff open
Some boxes stay yours. The record makes that obvious.
See the work, not just the answer.
This is the actual checklist surface. The run stays readable for you, while your connected assistant can create items, check them off, and attach the files it produced.
- Step-level instructions
- Visible human handoffs
- Output attached to the step
And when it is just you?
No workspaces. No methodology. No project-management ritual. One list that answers one question: what needs to get done today?
Life is checkboxes. We kept it that way.

Questions
Do I need to know what MCP is?
No. MCP is the connection standard behind the scenes. Follow the setup steps in a supported assistant and approve access to OnlyCheckboxes.
Which AI assistants does it work with?
Claude is the clearest current path. Other MCP-compatible clients may work, but support depends on how each client handles remote OAuth connections.
Is there a free plan?
No. Eligible customers get a 30-day trial with everything included. Card details are collected securely through Stripe, and you can cancel before the trial ends.
Does a scheduled checklist run my AI automatically?
Not by itself. OnlyCheckboxes generates the next checklist on schedule. Your assistant still needs to be invoked unless it has its own automation configured.
Why not just use Todoist?
Todoist is a broad task manager and supports AI integrations. OnlyCheckboxes is narrower: repeatable checklists as runbooks, each run kept as a record, proof attached to completed steps, and human handoffs left visible.
The work happened. Keep the record.
